Bryan Wyatt

Bryan is responsible for the acquisition of properties, securing funding for new construction and/or
renovation of these properties into successful communities.
Before joining VOANS, Bryan was a consultant in the development of affordable and special needs
housing for nonprofit and state government clients in the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Prior to his consulting work, he was an Acquisition Manager at The Community Builders (TCB), where he was involved in the successful acquisition and redevelopment of 618 project-based Section 8 units in 32 buildings in Cincinnati. He was part of the TCB development team that applied for and received a $30 million HUD Choice Neighborhood grant for comprehensive revitalization of the Avondale neighborhood in Cincinnati. He has extensive experience using Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Home funds, Section 8 programs, Housing Trust funds and historic tax credits in several different states. Bryan began his career working for the City of Boston as an economic development planner.  He moved to Minnesota to become Technical Assistance Director of a new statewide organization, The Minnesota Housing Partnership (MHP), providing technical assistance, training, grants and loans to member organizations for affordable housing development in Greater Minnesota.  After returning to New England, he worked for two community development corporations in Lowell and Cambridge, Massachusetts as the senior real estate staff member.
Bryan earned a BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine and a MA in Urban & Environmental Policy from Tufts University.
