Senior Development Director

Patrice McGinn brings over 30 years of development, finance, design, construction, and management of affordable housing in 37 states, 45 cities throughout the U.S. The focus of Patrice’s career has been leading high capacity teams in re-creating neighborhoods to preserve affordable housing and provide needed services in some of the most distressed cities across the country.

Patrice is an industry leader who has partnered with various teams to deliver 33, multi-phased, award winning HOPE VI mixed-finance affordable housing developments with costs ranging in excess of $50 million. Patrice is recognized for applying her knowledge and experience in public/private partnerships, acquisition/sales, zoning and building code analysis, economic development, government programs, housing policy, public relations, formula grants, HCV Programs, RAD, LIHTC, AHTF, NHTF, CDBG, and HOME to develop sustainable neighborhoods and assist low and moderate-income households by providing much needed services.

Patrice has led award-winning teams in a broad spectrum of assignments to assist affordable housing agencies capitalize, operate, and manage federal property assets. As a community liaison, Patrice has managed expectations, developed solutions, and built consensus among diverse interest groups by using her comprehensive understanding of project constraints and opportunities.

Patrice’s career background also includes being a part of the leadership group in developing, financing and constructing market-rate, multifamily, mix-use, traditional neighborhood design, new urbanism and transit-oriented development.

Representative Experience

Development and construction of 140,000 acres, 12,000 units of market rate and affordable wood/concrete single and multi-family mixed-finance housing including mixed-use and commercial buildings for TOD’s, urban centers and revitalized public housing neighborhoods with total development costs ranging from $13 million to $1 billion.
