Keith Howell serves as the Vice President of Compliance and Performance Excellence for Volunteers of America National Services’ Healthcare Division. In this role, he supports quality, compliance, and clinical operations – working to strengthen systems that enhance performance and ensure regulatory excellence across skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, and PACE programs.
Since joining VOANS in 2010, Keith has held various roles in nursing, pharmacy, quality and compliance, and operational leadership. These experiences have given him a broad perspective on healthcare systems and how different functions contribute to high-quality care.
Keith is committed to building systems and processes that help teams work efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and compliance. He enjoys bringing structure to complex challenges and aligning efforts with meaningful outcomes. His approach to problem-solving is practical and strategic, focusing on clarity, accountability, and sustainable solutions. He believes in addressing challenges with a level-headed perspective and working collaboratively to drive continuous improvement.
Keith holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration and is dedicated to advancing VOANS’ mission by supporting systems that promote quality care and organizational excellence.
