The Rochester Rehabilitation and Living Center Team
Meet the Leaders and Care Professionals Who Make Our Community a Home
When you come to the Rochester Rehabilitation and Living Center, you’ll immediately experience the dignity, compassion, and respect that every resident deserves. Our leadership and care teams are dedicated to ensuring every resident is getting the personalized care and support they need to live their lives to the fullest in a welcoming environment that feels like home.
Leadership That Guides Our Mission
In addition to our excellent care team, our leaders play a huge role in making the Rochester Rehabilitation and Living Center home for our residents. These are the people that help set our course for the present and future of excellent care.
Scott Christianson
Adminstrator
Scott comes to us from Iowa and has 10+ years of experience in senior living leadership. Most recently, Scott served as the Director of Long Term Care Services at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, Iowa. Previously, he was the Executive Director at English Valley Care Center. Scott has a strong focus on quality improvement including survey results, financial results and employee retention efforts.
Marie Himle
Admissions Director
Marie has been a dedicated nurse for over 10 years and has been a valued member of our team for nearly eight. She graduated from Minnesota State College Southeast and now serves as our Admissions Director, helping new patients and their families feel welcomed and supported from day one and throughout the transition to the Rochester Rehabilitation and Living Center. Known for her warm personality and attention to detail, Marie ensures a smooth transition into care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in Wisconsin with her beloved cows and attending demolition derbies in Kansas.
Rachel Heveron, CTRS
Life Enrichment Director
Rachel recently moved from Billings, MT to join the staff here at The Homestead at Rochester. Growing up, she always had a passion for working with people in underserved populations. After wanting to be more of a voice for these individuals, she went to college at the University of Northern Iowa for Therapeutic Recreation. She worked at the National Ability Center in Park City, UT and discovered that individuals with varying abilities can still do most things–adapted. “People of all abilities can be successful and reach new heights when others treat them with respect and kindness,” said Rachel. She knew she would end up back in the Midwest and is happy to make Rochester her home.
Cailie Peters
Director of Human Resources
Cailie double majored in business administration and human resources from Winona State University and earned a master’s from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She originally is from Wabasha and considers Rochester the big city, but loves being only five minutes from Target. Outside of work and enjoying her adored Doberman Stella Bean, Cailie loves to travel and lift weights at the gym.
