Welcome to Concord Park

Concord Park is a Volunteers of America Massachusetts Senior Living Community located in West Concord Village, a neighborhood full of history. They offer independent senior living, traditional assisted living, and a secure Compass Memory Support Neighborhood®. The Compass Neighborhood, affiliated with the Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, features innovative, research-based daily programming for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia that is designed to actually treat the symptoms of memory loss. Senior Living Residences of Braintree, MA professionally manages the community.

At Concord Park, residents enjoy an enriching and active social lifestyle. Seniors participate in a variety of programming, covering the arts, fitness, the outdoors, travel, and much more. Concord Park’s dynamic environment and EnrichedLIFE programming are designed to help residents stay social, intellectually engaged and independent for as long as possible. The community’s Assabet River walking trail, picnic area, and green spaces provide residents with plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature.

OUR AMENITIES

Concord Park allows residents to choose between a private studio, one-bedroom apartment, or companion suite, which they can decorate to their liking. The newly renovated common areas include a country kitchen, full-service salon, library, community rooms, and outdoor landscaped patios.

The restaurant-style dining room features award-winning and delicious Brain Healthy Cooking menu options, which are based on the Mediterranean diet and proven through research to boost cognitive function and potentially slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Residents may also choose from a menu of always-available favorites or suggest new dishes to our Chef!

Concord Park also offers ConnectedLIFE, an “open campus” memory support program for seniors showing signs of early memory loss or Mild Cognitive Impairment. When these residents self-isolate or feel lost, they find solidarity with a small group of their peers. ConnectedLIFE provides them with additional support services and innovative treatment programming so they can gain more independence and boost self-esteem.

Looking for a more flexible option to see if Concord Park is right for your loved one? The community’s short-term trial stay program gives seniors all the benefits of residency without committing to a permanent stay. While seniors enjoy companionship, recover from hospitalization, or try out a possible new home, primary caregivers can take much-needed rest.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Concord Park is actively involved in the Dementia Friendly Communities Initiative, a program launched by Senior Living Residences (SLR) designed to advance education and understanding surrounding dementia. Concord Park regularly provides free educational programs and training workshops to families, caregivers, emergency responders, hospital staff, non-profit groups and local businesses to help them build empathy towards those affected by dementia and help to foster a more dementia friendly community.
