Concord Park is a Volunteers of America Massachusetts Senior Community, professionally managed by Senior Living Residences of Boston, a trusted name in senior housing and care providing residents with evidence-based arts, fitness and lifelong learning programs designed to help seniors stay sharp, social and independent.

Located on Commonwealth Avenue, in the heart of the West Concord, MA shopping village, Concord Park Senior Living Community offers independent senior living, traditional assisted living and a Compass Memory Support Neighborhood featuring a research-based treatment program for those with memory loss. Concord Park is proudly affiliated with the Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Center.

OUR AMENITIES

Concord Park offers residents have their choice of private studio and one-bedroom apartments and a variety of beautifully furnished community areas. The community features ample outdoor areas including a large, beautifully landscaped courtyard and patio as well as a picnic area and walking trail that explores the Assabet River within the land behind the community.

The community offers residents intellectually stimulating opportunities as well as arts, fitness and spiritual programs as part of their daily schedule. From walking clubs and lectures to cooking demonstrations, book clubs and technology classes, Concord Park’s EnrichedLIFE programs are distinct, captivating, and personally created to suit the residents’ dearest pastimes and interests.

Concord park’s Compass Memory Support Neighborhood® offers individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease a treatment course designed to slow the progression of the disease through specialized programming that includes a brain-healthy nutrition program that is centered around the health benefits of the Mediterranean Diet and Reconnections, a curriculum-based learning program tailored for those with memory loss.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Concord Park is actively involved in Massachusetts’ Dementia Friendly Communities movement, a program designed to advance education and understanding about dementia, and regularly provides free educational programs and training workshops to families, caregivers, emergency responders, hospital staff, non-profit groups and local businesses to help them respond appropriately to people with dementia.
