Forestdale Park Senior Living is a Volunteers of America Massachusetts senior community located in the heart of Malden, MA. The community is a historic renovation of the McFadden Manor. They provide independent living, assisted living, and innovative Compass Memory Support for those with Alzheimer’s and related dementia.
Forestdale Park promotes an active, dynamic, social lifestyle for all residents to enrich their minds, bodies and spirits. Assisted Living residents pursue their passions and develop new hobbies with EnrichedLIFE programming, such as Culinary Club, Art Appreciation, and Trivia Hour. Forestdale’s secure Compass Memory Support Neighborhood®, affiliated with the Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, provides structured, research-based programming aimed at treating the symptoms of cognitive impairment and providing a comfortable, homelike environment.
Our Amenities
At Forestdale Park, residents can choose from private studio, one-bedroom, or companion suite apartments. They can also explore beautiful common spaces, including a Creative Arts Center, Piano Lounge, Bistro, Library, Fitness Studio and scenic outdoor patio. Each day, seniors experience the wonders of the award-winning Brain Healthy Cooking Program, which features menu options inspired by the Mediterranean Diet and supported by research to promote heart health and even delay symptoms of Alzheimer’s.

Forestdale Park offers a variety of public and professional education courses on a variety of topics, including dementia awareness and sensitivity, boosting your brain health by eating well, combating senior bullying, paying for assisted living, and more.
