Mike Anderson

Campus Executive Director

Mike is excited to lead the Rochester team as the Campus Executive Director. What started as a part time job in high school in a nursing home has turned into his calling for a lifetime career. He has a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management with an emphasis in long-term care management from Concordia College-Moorhead. He brings with him over 13 years of experience in senior leadership in nursing homes, assisted living, home care, clinics, treatment centers, and residential mental health operations. His wife Allysa teaches special education at the high school level. They have two sons, Rhett and Holt, who keep them busy; they are active in wrestling, lacrosse, foot and junior bible quiz. Their family also includes two dogs, a cat, and some chickens. His faith is strong and he serves as a leader in the Sunday school program and weekly small group. A fun fact: He recently took up running and has run a marathon.

Michelle leads the sales and marketing efforts across The Homestead at Rochester community. Her background showcases more than 10 years of professional experience within the areas of sales, marketing, public relations and communications. Kelly Morgan, RN, DON, RRLC

Director of Nursing

Kelly is the Director of Nursing for Rochester Rehab and Living. She has a Master’s degree in Nursing Education. She has spent her entire career in long term care. Kelly started as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked her way up to Director of Nursing. The part she loves most about her job is being able to get to know the residents. For some residents, we truly become their family.  She lives in Pine Island, with her kids Jaxon, Colton, and Owen. She loves going to their baseball and football games, watch the Vikings and the Minnesota Wild, and spending their summer nights outdoors.

Alex Schepp

Life Enrichment Director

Alex has a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in Gerontology; she is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. She grew up in Wisconsin and currently lives in La Crosse-a bit of a hike from Rochester, but she doesn’t mind it. She is an animal lover—two cats named Fang and Griffin, a gecko named Dex and a beta fish named Jasmine. Fun fact: She loves the outdoors and is a huge plant person!

Cailie Peters

Director of Human Resources

Cailie has a double major in Business Administration and Human Resources from Winona State University and a Master’s from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She originally is from Wabasha and considers Rochester the big city, but loves being only 5 minutes from Target.  Her “kid” Stella Bean is a Doberman who she adores. Fun fact: She loves snacks, is a big traveler, enjoys lifting weights at the gym.

Lisa Jones

Business Office Manager

Lisa’s duties include all the monthly billing for rent and services, as well as being the supervisor over the concierge service. She enjoys spending the day with her co-workers and the residents. She lives in Fountain, MN which is 35 miles south of Rochester. She has 11 children and six grandchildren, which is truly her biggest accomplishment in life! She has a huge garden and enjoys canning in the late summer and early fall.

Rachel Christopher

Accounts Payable and Payroll

Rachel has an Associate of Science degree in Medical Secretary and is a Certified Health Unit Coordinator. She grew up in SE Minnesota and currently lives in Rochester with her two boys, ages 6 and 8. Rachel loves being a mom and enjoys doing any and all of the things with her boys during her free time. A fun fact is he played minor league baseball for the Augusta Green Jackets. In his spare time, he serves as a board member on the Southeast Minnesota Health Care Coalition, and coaches hockey and baseball.

Kristine Bratlien

Kris is a certified Health Unit Coordinator with many years of experience working in a metropolitan hospital and with senior living campuses. She and her husband raised and homeschooled their four children in small town Mantorville, MN, home of the historic Hubbell House and reside there currently. Kris has a deep faith and enjoys using her gifts and abilities to serve our residents, their families and our staff. Fun Fact: She loves a good hamburger and road trips “Out West” where the buffalo roam.
